Youth activists demand ‘real action’ on climate change

In advance of November’s COP26, around 400 young climate activists, including Greta Thunberg, have been meeting at the Youth4Climate Summit in Milan, Italy.

The Pope offered his support via video link, and education ministers from various countries gave speeches.

The young activists were clear in their demands – they want action, not more words.

Channel 4 spoke to a number of the activists at the Summit from India, Pakistan, Argentina, Sudan and Moldova, asking them how climate change is already affecting their own countries, and what they want to see done by world leaders.

The Youth4Climate Summit was hosted by the Italian government, which is the UK’s partner in organising COP26.
