The Church of England to go net-zero by 2030

Leaders of the Church of England, the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church are coming together for the first time to support COP26 and work together to help combat climate change.

On a personal level the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has got rid of his diesel car and reduced his meat consumption.

The faith leaders are sharing a message to gain ‘reconciliation with the creation with which we have unconsciously at war with for so long.’

Together the three churches represent around 1.75 billion people.
